Dean Kendrick is a British contemporary sculptor renowned for his expressive bronze sculptures that blend classical tradition with modern energy. Specialising in figurative and wildlife sculpture, he creates dynamic three-dimensional works that capture movement, strength and emotion.
Born in Birmingham in 1970, Dean studied art in the late 1980s and now works from his studio in Stratford-upon-Avon. His contemporary bronze sculptures are exhibited internationally and held in private collections worldwide, as well as featured in large-scale public installations.
Influenced by classical masters such as Edgar Degas and Leonardo da Vinci, Kendrick approaches each piece with meticulous research and anatomical precision. Working in solid foundry bronze using the traditional lost wax casting method, he achieves exceptional detail and enduring quality. Each sculpture is finished with a rich patina that enhances depth and character.
Dean Kendrick’s work combines stylised realism with expressive movement, designed to engage the viewer from every angle. His sculptures are powerful, refined and crafted to stand the test of time.
