Poppy Kettle
Poppy Kettle is a London-based portrait artist celebrated for her bold use of colour and expressive brushwork, exploring themes of emotion, identity, and connection.
Inspired by vintage media, pin-up imagery, and everyday moments, her work focuses on women, blending honesty with playful energy. Also focusing on body language and expression, Poppy is fascinated by the tension between how we present ourselves and what we are actually thinking and portrays this in each of her pieces.
Using oil, acrylic, and spray paint on wood panels or paper, her process combines styled reference photography with imaginative layering.
In 2024, Poppy exhibited in several UK group shows and held her first solo exhibition in London. Her work is in collections across the UK, Europe, and the US.
