Artist Profile
Singapore born mixed media artist, Gareth Tristan Evans was brought up in a remote Welsh valley and now resides in Macclesfield as a full time artist with an increasing interest from contemporary art collectors.
Gareth Utilises a wide range of techniques from photography to digital art to traditional pen and brush. His work is widely influenced by memories of his childhood, vintage textiles, urban street art and an O.C.D. attention to detail.
He employs whatever skills and materials needed to achieve the desired result without conforming to tradition. To date, Gareth has exhibited extensively in the north of England and has featured at the Manchester and Edinburgh Art Fairs, he was also featured in as ‘Artist in Focus’ in April's edition of lifestyle magazine, Cheshire Life.
