Artist Profile

Dave White is a British contemporary artist known for his expressive paintings of wildlife and endangered species. Combining fluid brushwork, vivid colour and energetic mark-making, his work captures the movement, character and vulnerability of the natural world.

A graduate of Liverpool John Moores University, Dave first gained recognition after being selected for the Northern Graduates Exhibition at the Royal College of Art. In 2002, his career took an unexpected turn when he pioneered theSneaker Art movement, leading to longstanding collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand.

For more than two decades, conservation and environmental awareness have remained central to Dave's practice. Through powerful animal portraiture and projects supporting organisations including Tusk and WWF, his work celebrates the beauty of wildlife while drawing attention to the importance of protecting it.
